[INFO DEUTSCH] Mit dem selbstbetitelten Debütalbum der italienischen A RAINY DAY IN BERGEN bekommen Fans des gitarrenlosen Indies einen besonderen Appetithappen vorgesetzt, der sich nicht hinter anderen Bands verstecken muss. Die Band bezieht sich eindeutig sowohl auf klassische wie moderne elektronische Einflüssen und heraus kommt eine einzigartige Mischung, die den Hörer in ihre ganz eigene Welt entführt.

Gegündet wurde das Projekt unter dem Namen Underscore im Jahre 2006. "Eine Mixtur alternativen Elektros, New Wave und Prog Rock mit einer absolut banalen Pop-Attitüde", charakterisiert durch "einen absolut wiedererkennbaren Sound, jenseits des Gewöhnlichen", perfektioniert durch "Songs, die jeden, der will, in eine träumerische Atmosphäre mitziehen".

Die Synthese aus der Beobachtung, dass "etwas magisches, offenbar unauffindbares, aber spürbares existiert und in der Realität der Band bestehen bleibt, etwas, das ihr erlaubt, in einem Anderen Licht, als die Anderen, zu leuchten" verklärt die Band "ein ungewöhnliches Phänomen der heutigen Musikszene" zu sein, "eine Perle der italienischen Musikszene, wahrscheinlich gar einzigartig".

Das Debütalbum wird ab dem 20.04.2012 auf CD sowie in digitaler Form ab dem 05. April 2012 in allen bekannten Stores, als auch bei afmusic erhältlich sein.

[ENGLISH INFO] With the self-titled debut album the italian A RAINY DAY IN BERGEN offer fans of guitar-free indie a very special delicacy, which doesn’t have to hide behind other bands. The band is definitely related to classic as well as electronic influences and out of this was made a mixture, that abducts the listener into its very own world.

The project was formed in 2006 under the name Underscore. "A mixture of alternative-electro new wave and prog rock with an absolutely not banal pop attitude" , characterized by "an absolutely recognizable and out of ordinary sound", getting its best through "songs taking who wants in an oneiric atmosphere".

The sinthesis of the observation that "something magical, apparently untraceable but only perceptible exists and persists into the band's reality, something allowing it to glow of a light different from the others' " declares this band to be "an unusual phaenomenon of today's music scene", "a pearl of the italian music scene, maybe unique"

The debut album will be available on CD from April 20th, 2012 as well as digital from April 05th, 2012 on in all well-known stores and on afmusic.
