afmusic, Deutschlands innovativstes Label für Dark Wave, Gothic und Independent bekommt ein neues Schwesterlabel - und die Danse Macabre Group Zuwachs aus der Electroszene. Ionium Records fusioniert mit XenoBiotic Records und vertreibt ab sofort alle Veröffentlichungen über afmusic. Dabei bleibt die musikalische Stoßrichtung erhalten. Ionium Records steht auch weiterhin für innovative elektronische Musik mit Schwerpunkt in der schwarzen Szene. afmusic bleibt Deutschlands erste Adresse für Newcomer-Netreleases aus den Bereichen Wave, Gothic und Independent.

Gemeinsam machen die beiden innovativen Musikverlage die Möglichkeiten des World Wide Web für Bands und Fans zum Vorteil: Bands bekommen die Möglichkeit, ihre Musik professionell zu promoten und zeitgemäß zu distributieren - Fans haben die frei Auswahl zwischen mehr als 50 Releases und können alle Songs komplett und kostenfrei im Netz hören.

afmusic, Germany's most innovative label regarding the music genres Wave, Gothic and Independent gets a new commercial partnership – and the Danse Macabre Group a welcoming enhancement of the electro-scene. Ionium Records merges with XenoBiotic Records and distributes all releases on the authority of afmusic with immediate effect. The music genre remains the same.

Ionium Records continues representing the distribution of innovative electronic music, with focus on the dark culture. afmusic remains Germany's leading address for newcomer's net-releases regarding the music genres Wave, Gothic and Independent.

Together, both record labels use the advantages of the World Wide Web, which bands as well as fans can benefit from: bands have the chance to promote and distribute their music professionally and contemporary – fans have the free choice between a wide range of more than 50 releases and are able to listen to all offered songs in complete length for free.

From 1st September 2009, the entire back-catalogue can be found on the new Ionium website. Moreover, a lot of new releases foreshadow the dark culture.
