How I can submit my demos?

Please send first links to your profile or page to the A&R manager. That page should include all informations about you, mp3-files and - if available - some videos. Send the link(s) with a short description to (kontakt [at] dansemacabre [dot] de). We read the submissions in the order we receive. Please note that we receive a lot submissions so we answer quick, but not instead.

If we contact you after your submission prepare a CD or CD-R with some material, bandbio and promotion fotos and send to adress we advise. We don't send promotion material back. We do not accept unsolicited submissions and / or demos. Danse Macabre takes no responsibility for returning any such materials to the sender.

How I can find informations about older releases?

First look about in our shop or some well-known mailorder stores like Amazon, buch.de, infrarot or direct over the website of Alive! AG. If you don't find anything contact us over our feedback system and tell us what you search. In most cases we do all what we can to organize some material.

How I can download promotions as mp3?

We only accept applications from journalists, DJs and promoters and we check them carefully. Contact us over our submission system and fill out all needed fields. If we accept your submission (tooks in most cases not longer as 24 hours) we inform you about.

How can I apply for the CD-sampling pool?

Fill out the submission and tell us something about your work, the clubs you work for, the people flow and what kind of style you use. We check carefully and tell you if we accept your application.

How do I get in touch with the artists or set up an interview?

We are pleased to hear from all of the loyal fans, and we welcome all your questions and comments. If you have a specific artist-related question, we recommend that you first visit this artist's website - perhaps the answer is there waiting for you or they may have included a specific email address for questions like yours. In order to find an artist's site, just click on the "Artists" menu on left site.
If you do not find the information that you are looking for on the artist's website, please send your question via email to: kontakt (at) dansemacabre (dot) de. Requests sent to the general email address will be handled on a discretionary basis.

Can I use music and photos of Danse Macabre artists on my website?

Our general policy is to permit artist fan sites to link directly to our website in order to avail themselves of the copyrighted materials featured on our site, but only for purposes of promoting the artists and their records and not for commercial purposes. Due to the complex legal issues surrounding the duplication of copyrighted materials, Danse Macabre generally does not permit the duplication of our music or artwork (including photos) on individual websites.

Can I use artists from Danse Macabre as samples?

Generally yes, but you have to inform us about.

How I can get some remix-kits?

Generally we don't propagate remix-kits or such material, we contact the artists in case of remixes. But you can apply to make a remix of any artist, contact us over our Feedback system and tell us why you want to remix the artist.
